At Grassroots Recovery Sober Living of Lancaster, we want to invite you to explore our site. As a trusted provider of sober living services, we are dedicated to helping individuals on their recovery journey.

We offer living space for Men and a separate residence for women in Lancaster County, Pa.

Resident Rights

Residents will be informed of their rights and responsibilities upon admission into the

program and given a copy of the (Program Description) and (House Rules-the Resident

Responsibilities).

1) To be treated with dignity and respect

2) To participate actively in your recovery

3) Be seen by a private physician with the understanding that all costs will be the

responsibility of the resident.

5) Have all information pertaining to stay held in confidence.

6) Receive information regarding costs.

7) Be fully informed at the time of admission of the rights and responsibilities set forth

herein and of all the rules and guidelines governing resident conduct.

8) Initiate a complaint or grievance procedure and understand that you may begin the

process by filling out a grievance slip or contacting the House owner

9) Request referral resources in the event of your dismissal from the House.

Rules and regulations:

No drug or alcohol allowed on the premises. Some exceptions for specific prescriptions.

Residents must pay their appropriate expenses to live in the home.

Residents must participate in weekly household chores.

Residents should have a plan to attend therapy or a sobriety program of their choice

offering support. AA is strongly encouraged.

House manager will request a speaker meeting at the house approximately once a

week. They will have assistance with this process.

A curfew of 10pm is standard for sober living to support sobriety.

No pets allowed.

No overnight guests.

Residents must sleep at the sober living house at least five nights per week, with very

few exceptions for travel.

House Manager Role:

Responsible for house duties of the home with adults working through addiction

& substance abuse. Supervises all residents in the home. Provides clarity & enforcement on agency

policies and protocols to residents. Encourage participation in AA, NA, Dharma, Recovery Programs. Functions as a leader/role

model, adhering to agency standards of practice for the residents. Responsible for collecting

random/supervised drug tests. Notifies Sober home director immediately if any

suspicions of substances being abused in the house.
